With this in mind and to reconnect with the media and update them on the tourism situation in Thailand,Tourism Authority of Thailand Delhi Office organized The Amazing Thailand Media Networking Lunch on 22nd September 2021 at Soy Neung Roi Thai restaurant at Radisson Blu Plaza Delhi Airport hotel.
The afternoon started with a Thai cookery theater & cooking class by Soy Neung Roi Executive Chef Sreenivasan, followed by a delicious Thai food lunch.
At the networking lunch, the media were informed about the current situation of travel for Indians to Thailand. The Royal Thai Embassy has resumed the issuance of all types of visa and COE (Certificate of entry) for permitted non-Thai nationals (except for medical treatment) starting 20th September 2021.
“All travelers wishing to travel to Thailand from India are requested to comply with Ministry of Public Health’s measure & regulations, including the quarantine period of at least 14 days. Travel to Phuket & Samui Sand Box and related initiatives are not applicable to travelers from India as yet,” said Vachirachai Sirisumpan, Director TAT, New Delhi. “However Thailand and Thai Travel Trade is looking forward to welcoming Indians soon,” he added.
