Followed by the participation at the Taiwan Expo 2018 – held from May 17 – 19 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, the Taiwan Tourism Bureau conducted a workshop and B2B session recently in Bengaluru at The Ritz- Carlton hotel.
The objective of the workshop was to educate the key agents of the Bengaluru about Taiwan and the products it has to offer for both the Leisure and MICE segment, and update their knowledge about the country, the USP’s of the destination, exchange rate, visas and the how it caters to different segments of the Indian travellers.
The workshop was focused on a B2B sessions where the invited agents got an opportunity to meet and discuss the Taiwan products directly with the suppliers who were present at the event Hyatt Hotels, Thai Airline and Cruise Professionals.
The B2B session was followed by the TTB Director, Singapore Office, Dr. Trust Lin addressing the gathering and sharing a general presentation on Taiwan. He spoke about the various aspects of the destination including outdoor activities, environment of Taiwan, sea side and the bay area, festivals, shopping and night life of Taiwan.
