Royal Jordanian (RJ) that until a few years ago flew to Delhi and Mumbai from its hub in Amman, capital of Jordan, has appointed STIC Travel Group as it GSA in India for passenger sales. The appointment comes into effect starting January 1st, 2021.
A Oneworld alliance member, RJ operates scheduled international services to over 40 countries in Europe, Africa, North America and Asia from its hub at Queen Alia International Airport in Amman.
The move is expected to help RJ grow its share of Indian traffic on its international route network. Indian passengers can fly on any carrier up to Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Doha and further connect to RJ’s network for their onward destinations.
According to Isha Goyal, Executive Director, STIC GSA Services, “Royal Jordanian is a uniquely placed carrier with an excellent network and legacy. We look forward to building a robust market from India to feed their entire network.”
