Leading international travel fair SATTE 2021, scheduled on March 24-26 in Delhi NCR, has announced its celebration of India’s 72nd Republic Day withspecial deal for Women Leaders in the business of travel and tourism.
SATTE is offering a flat 50 per cent discount on its domestic buyer programme to women professionals involved in the business of travel and tourism. The exclusive offer is valid until tomorrow, January 27. In its 28th edition, the event will take place at Delhi NCR’s India Expo Centre.
True to its reputation, SATTE 2021 will remain the first major international travel show despite the event being rescheduled from January to March due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Commenting on the initiative, Pallavi Mehra, Group Director, Informa Markets in India, said, “There is always a light at the end of the tunnel. Despite the Covid despair, there is now a growing buoyancy in the travel businesses. Swift and timely action by the government, and rollout of vaccination programme, has immensely added to the growing confidence.”
“This exclusive offer for the women professionals of the industry not only celebrates India’s 72nd Republic Day anniversary but is also our way of thanking and standing by the travel and tourism industry that has suffered the most because of the pandemic,” she added.
The three-day SATTE 2020 expo had witnessed tremendous response from the travel, tourism and hospitality industry. More than 1,100 exhibitors and co-exhibitors, along with representation from over 50 countries and 104 Indian cities had participated in the event. The show was attended by over 35,000 travel and tourism professionals, while hosting 200 International Buyers and 500+ Indian buyers.
