Enterprising Travel Agents Association (ETAA) North India chapter has recently elected a new team led by Prime Connections CEO Sangeeta Manocha. She is also a Director on the National Board of ETAA. Manocha will head a new team of office bearers along with members on two new strategic positions created to forge improved industry relations, namely Head – Alliances and Head – Events. Associated with ETAA since 2013, Manocha has been ETAA North India’s Joint Secretary and most recently, it’s General Secretary.
Tour Passion’s Naveen Manchanda and Bakshi Transport Service’s Kanwarjit Singh Sawhney have been appointed as the General Secretary and Treasurer respectively. Manuj Rajput of Promark Travel Services and Saurabh Tuteja of Ujjwal Creations are the two new Joint Secretaries. Blue Skies Travels & Tours Arush Mittal and Travways Tours’ Gaurav Arora are Head-Alliances and Head-Events respectively.
Commenting on the appointment, Manocha said that with the introduction of two honorary posts of Events and Alliances, ETAA North India will have more knowledge sessions, more educational programmes and familiarisation tours only in India, but also to foreign destinations, which will benefit ETAA North India members to sell their products. She also said that the chapter will focus on increasing its membership base in the tier 2 & 3 cities.
