The Events Industry Council (EIC) has conferred Rajeev Kohli, Joint Managing Director, Creative Travels, with the ‘Hall of Leaders’ award – the most prestigious and highest global honour in the MICE industry.
Since 1985, EIC has distinguished the industry through the ‘Hall of Leaders’ awards in order to promote the value of the industry and the contributions of the leaders working within it.
The ‘EIC Global Awards’ is the industry moment to celebrate and honour event professionals from all levels and areas who have achieved exemplary achievements within the Global Business Events Industry.
The ‘Hall of Leaders’ award is the premier recognition in events industry’s ‘Lifetime Achievement Award’. The award recognises outstanding leaders who have undoubtedly shaped the industry.
The official communiqué of EIC says, “We are excited to reveal the winners of the EIC Global Awards. The judging panel was extremely impressed with the compelling entries and the impressive achievements of the event professionals who were nominated. Their awards go through a very high standard of scrutiny by a peer group from across the world.”
Rajeev Kohli – an Indian travel professional, is the well renowned global leader in the tourism industry contributing his time and wisdom towards the betterment of the ‘Incentive Travel’ globally. He made Indians proud and created a history as the first ever Asian to lead the Society for Incentive Travel Excellence (SITE) – one of the elite associations of the world, as its Global President for two consecutive terms (2016 & 2017). Currently he is the President of Euromic – one of the oldest DMC consortiums in the travel industry.
While expressing his happiness Kohli says, “I am so blessed to have so many of my global family hold me at a level of esteem I don’t even think of myself.”

The winners will be celebrated at the EIC Global Awards Celebration, which will take place on Sunday 7th November 2021 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. The event will be a unique opportunity to support the industry and the individuals who, through their leadership, are driving meaningful change.
