Public Relations Council of India (PRCI) has announced the formation of its Delhi Chapter. Rajan Sehgal has been elected as the Chairman, followed by Sudhir Sobti as Vice Chairman, Uday Marwah as Secretary, Manisha Singh as Joint Secretary and Gaurav Dogra as Treasurer. Sudhir Sobti, Ex. Communication head, Delhi Tourism is also appointed Joint Secretary – North Zone, National Executive Committee of PRCI.
Extending its pan India reach of 37 chapters with over 2500 active members, PRCI also operates under on an International level from its headquarter based in London, under the aegis of World Communicator’s Council (WCC). As a non – political organisation, PRCI provides a conducive platform for communications professionals for excellence and exposure in the field, Public Relations lines at the Helmand of this body.
Its ethos is to help professionals, young and seasoned, explore the many avenues of effective communication, and imbibe the best practices of the industry while evolving through the ever changing landscape of communications. With the communication industry experiencing a sea change, PRCI’s core objective and principles stand true to the need of the hour.
PRCI Chapters across the country are organizing webinars on various motivational topics, campaign against fake news, skill set sharpening etc. PR journals, case studies and books for the benefit of the students of journalism and Mass communication are also being planned under the close supervision of the veteran S. Narendra, as an Editor and former Media Advisor to the Prime Minister of India.
