The two day skydiving camp organised by Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board began in Bhopal on Tuesday. The Skydiving Camp will also be organised in Ujjain from March 3rd to 6th.
After the formal inauguration, two divers jumped from the aircraft holding the Indian tri-colour and the flag of Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board (MPTB).
Organised in collaboration with Pioneer Flying Academy – adventure seekers flew from Raja Bhoj International airport and landed on Rajiv Gandhi Campus. Thrill seekers and daredevils got a chance to explore the beautiful lakes and other stunning nature landscapes of Bhopal from
the sky.
Sheo Shekhar Shukla, Principal Secretary of Tourism and Culture Department, Madhya Pradesh said, “It’s golden opportunity for all adventure lovers to participate in Skydiving event. As the event is first of its kind in state and is provided to adventurers at low prices and high standards. They can experience the thrill of flying like birds in the sky and explore the beautiful city of Bhopal from a height of 10,000 feet.”
The program was inaugurated at the Rajiv Gandhi University of Technology, Bhopal stadium. Narottam Mishra, Home Minister, Madhya Pradesh graced the event. Usha Thakur, Minister of Tourism, Madhya Pradesh joined the event virtually. Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board’s AMD Shilpa Gupta, Adventure Tourism Board Deputy Director Umakan Chaudhary was also present on the occasion.
