Kapil Mishra sworn in as Delhi Tourism Minister 

Having registered a remarkable victory from Karawal Nagar constituency in the Delhi Legislative Assembly election, the Bhartiya Janta Party’s prominent leader Kapil Mishra has been inducted into the six members cabinet led by Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta.
Sworn in as the Minister for Tourism & Culture, (along with Law & Justice) Government of Delhi Kapil Mishra has been assigned a herculean task to take ‘Delhi Tourism’ to the next level.
The historical and Capital City of India, Delhi has always been in the limelight for its world renowned tourist attractions, and plays a crucial role in the growth of the segment as Gateway of India.
The 44-year-old took the oath of office at a grand ceremony at Ramlila Maidan in the capital, administered by Delhi Lieutenant Governor Vinai Kumar Saxena.
Born on November 13, 1980, Kapil Mishra won the Delhi assembly election from Karawal Nagar, defeating Manoj Kumar Tyagi of the Aam Aadmi Party by 23,355 votes. He won this seat in 2015 as an Aam Aadmi Party candidate.
