Jordan declared free of Coronavirus Disease 2019

In an attempt to update its partners and travellers from across the globe, on the latest COVID- 19 (Corona Virus), Jordan Tourism Board has confirmed that Jordan until this day is free of the virus and zero cases have been confirmed as per the announcement of the Jordanian Minister of Health and the W.H.O.
In a media statement released by JTB, Dr. Abed AI-Razzaq Arabiyat, Managing Director says: “Needless to mention that Jordan is taking extra measures to protect all our tourists and the public by restricting access to the country for travelers who are arriving from destinations with an outbreak of the COVID-19 unless the departure date prior to their arrival is for a period not less than 14 days.”
“The hospitality of our people, engrained in our Bedouin nature, knows no bounds. Our tourism sector, as with all aspects of our daily lives, continues to function as normal and all events and tourism sites remain business as usual,” he added.
“Our doors are open to all tourists interested in experiencing Jordanian culture, heritage, food and hospitality and in joining the millions of other visitors we’ve had over the years. We, as a country and people, invite you .ill to experience your Jordan as we do; as a land of warmth, hospitality and generosity,” said Dr Arabiyat.
