Abu Dhabi is now open to all vaccinated visitors without quarantine. And as the NTOs across the world gradually gear up to cautiously open to tourism, Abu Dhabi Tourism, as part of it’s marketing campaign ‘The time is now’ has roped in professional American wrestler and Hollywood action star John Cena for a high-octane and adventure filled promotional campaign in which the star, true to his image, is literally seen parachute jumps into Abu Dhabi from a mid-air private jet flight.
A one-minute promotional video campaign that has been posted by The Department of Culture & Tourism – Abu Dhabi on its various social media handle shows Cena on a long haul flight still stuck for 14 more hours before he lands. This when he discovers Abu Dhabi through a magazine showcasing Abu Dhabi’s myriad attractions titled ‘The time is now.’
And with his flight already flown past Abu Dhabi, Cena para jumps shouting ‘Now is the time Mike’ and being visibly amazed descending mid-air with Yas Island’s Ferrari World and Desert Jeep Safari and finally landing on the roof of Louvre Abu Dhabi one of Abu Dhabi’s iconic landmark.
The video ends with Cena uttering the campaign’s key message “I wish you could see this.”
