Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel to inaugurate 36th IATO Convention

Indian Association of Tour Operators’ President Rajiv Mehra along with Vice President – Ravi Gosain, Hony. Secretary – Rajnish Kaistha and Chairman IATO Gujarat Chapter – Randhirsingh Vaghela, has called on the Chief Minister of Gujarat Bhupendra Patel to personally invite and request him to be the Chief Guest for the inaugural function on 16th December 2021 at The Leela Gandhinagar, which Hon’ble Chief Minister very graciously accepted the same.
Earlier Shripad Yesso Naik, Minister of State for Tourism, Government of India has kindly consented to be the Chief Guest for the valedictory session to be held on 18th December 2021.
IATO’s President Rajiv Mehra appealed to the industry stakeholders to attend the convention in large numbers to show the solidarity and confidence to the world that everything is normal, which will help to revive inbound tourism to our country. “We expect participation of state governments in big numbers and expect participation of about 15 state governments,” informed the President.
While elaborating on the dignitaries expected to present and address the delegates at the 36th annual convention, association president Mehra says, “We will have strong participation from the Ministry of Tourism and state government (s) with presence of Arvind Singh, Secretary (Tourism), Rupinder Brar, ADG (Tourism), Govt. of India, Dr. V. Venu, Chief Secretary (Tourism), Govt. of Kerala, Hareet Shukla – Secretary (Tourism), Govt. of Gujarat, Jenu Dewan, Managing Director, TCGL Rajiv Jalota – Chairman, Mumbai Port Trust and  Dr. Abhay Sinh – Director General, SEPC addressing the delegates in business sessions on important topics.”
“The senior industry  representatives like Nakul Anand, Executive Director – ITC Hotels, Puneet Chhatwal – MD and CEO of Taj Hotels, Anuraag Bhatnagar – COO, The Leela Palaces Hotels and Resorts, addressing the delegates,” he added.
