Chor Bizarre set to host Parsi Bhonu by Queen of Catering Tanaz Godiwalla

The restaurant has hosted pop-ups celebrating the flavours of Meghalaya, Ladakh, Mangalore, Odisha, and Purani Dilli since it's relaunch

Chor Bizarre, known for its regional Indian cuisine and authentic Kashmiri dishes, is set to host an exclusive Parsi Bhonu (Bhonu- refers to a traditional, celebratory meal or feast, often served on banana leaves) pop-up by the legendary Tanaz Godiwalla from March 27th to 29th.
Originally debuting in 1990 as India’s first themed restaurant, Chor Bizarre gained iconic status for its unique ‘Thieves Market’ ambience and authentic regional Indian cuisine.

Recognized globally for its Kashmiri dishes, it was the first to introduce Kashmiri Wazwan and traditional Kashmiri pandit delicacies beyond the valley. Since its relaunch last year, Chor Bizarre has hosted pop-ups celebrating the flavours of Meghalaya, Ladakh, Mangalore, Odisha, and Purani Dilli.
For her first-ever pop-up outside Mumbai, Tanaz Godiwalla brings Parsi Bhonu to New Delhi. Renowned for her expertise in Parsi cuisine, she has perfected age-old recipes that highlight the community’s culinary traditions.
This pop-up offers a rare opportunity to indulge in the rich heritage and culinary indulgence of authentic Parsifare, including vegetarian dishes like Lagan Nu Stew, Patra Paneer, Rai No Potato, Soya Sali Jerdaloo, and Dhansak, alongside non-vegetarian classics such as Saas ni Machi, Chicken Farcha, and Sali Boti. To end the meal on a sweet note, the menu features traditional desserts such as Lagan Nu Custard and Parsi Ravo.
“I am thrilled to bring this pop-up to Delhi, especially as Parsi cuisine has gained immense popularity beyond the community in recent years. It is an absolute honour and pleasure to bring these authentic flavours to the nation’s capital,” says Tanaz Godiwalla.
