With the current Secretary of Tourism, Government of India, Rashmi Verma, superannuating on November 30th, Government of India has announced the appointment of Yogendra Tripathi as the new Tourism Secretary. Tripathi has been the Chairman & Managing Director of Food Corporation of India since July 2015.
Tripathi is the 1985 batch IAS officer of Kernataka cadre. In a career spanning over more than three decades Tripathi has served at various key positions in the state of Karnataka and at the centre.
