Tripda, India’s leading carpooling website is offering free rides with 100 per cent cashback from 5th June to 8th June, 2015, to mark World Environment Day. The carpooling offer is applicable for the Delhi-Chandigarh and Mumbai-Pune highway routes.

Travelport’s Student of the Year brings talented candidates to the industry

A panel of judges Kapil Kaul, CEO-South Asia, CAPA India, Geeta Jain, CEO-India, Carlson Wagonlit and Dr M Sajnanai, Director, Amity Institute of Travel & Tourism identified the Student of the Year among five finalists of this year’s contest. The contest aimed at creating talent for the travel industry and encouraging academy students to reach standards of high excellence in the Travel and Tourism space. Targeted at for students from travel institutes, the selection process was started on 01 March, while the final round took place on 25th May at the Ibis Hotel at Aerocity, New Delhi.

Benefiting students who were keen to pursue a career in the travel and tourism space, the selection process for the Student of the Year program was open to all travel institutes associated with ITQ the selection process beginning on 01 March 2015 had over 80 students participating. Selected candidates from each institute underwent numerous elimination rounds, thus permitting the panel of experts to shortlist the top five students for the final round. Each of the five finalists under-went a presentation and Personal Interaction session with the respected panel of judges.
